Query strings and fragments are stripped before anything is sent. Only allowlisted utm_* values survive. IP addresses and full user agents are used for a moment to spot bots and find the country, and never stored.
Whether you need a consent notice depends on where you operate and what else your site does. Little Friend lists what each mode collects so you and your counsel can decide. Journey mode can wait for consent with data-consent="required".
