A tag your visitors won't notice.

The Google tag weighed 163 to 181 KB gzipped on the eight real sites we measured on September 25, 2026. Little Friend's script is 3.3 KB gzipped.

How we measured

  • No cookies in either mode. Aggregate mode, the default, keeps no visitor or session key anywhere.
  • Bots in the open. Crawlers and AI agents have their own count, so their requests never add to your page views.
  • Sales your server confirms. A server-confirmed goal counts only what your server sends with a secret key.

Every number says what it means.

Every number carries its definition, freshness and caveats. Conversion rate is goals divided by views in aggregate mode, and goals divided by sessions in journey mode. A number that can't be computed shows as unavailable, never as zero.

How we count

Run it next to Google Analytics first.

Both scripts run side by side. Compare a few weeks of numbers, then remove the Google tag when you're ready.

In your site's <head>
<script defer src="https://cdn.littlefriend.io/lf.js" data-site="lf_YOUR_SITE_KEY"></script>
  1. Paste the tag with your site key, next to the Google tag.
  2. Name what matters with data-lf on buttons and forms. Custom events
  3. Send sales from your server with a secret key. Goals and server events
